I hesitate to write the next few paragraphs in fear of jinxing a good thing, but since that would be the old half empty Mommy I shall continue…. 🙂

Since my Thanksgiving Resolution life has been grand. The last two nights Aidan has slept in his crib for eleven fantabulous hours without a fuss! He woke up this morning just before 7 am in the happiest of moods. I’m pretty sure he’s even happy that it’s not 5 am! Today was a good mood day. Life is SO much better on good mood days. Playing at home wasn’t so tortuous today. We weren’t forced out of our house by a tyrant toddler!

We started off the morning with a trip to the Christmas Bazaar (the half empty Mommy would never attend a Christmas event in NOVEMBER!). We attempted the whole “Santa thing” again. This is what he did instead:

Christmas Poop

To the untrained eye it might look like he is playing with the presents, light from behind the curtain, or about to play peek-a-boo but a skilled Mommy such as myself knows exactly what he was up to! A good ole Holiday Poop! A special “gift” for Jolly Saint Nick! Good times! Since this town is LAME and public places are not equipped with changing tables we had to walk next door to the library and pull up a piece of floor and tend to his little bottom! I’m seriously thinking of writing our Mayor–no changing tables is ridiculous–especially in the public library!

Tonight we had dinner with Baby Kai and Baby Brie. Aidan is ten full months older than both of them and is still in last place in the hair department! Maybe that should be on his Christmas wish list! 😆

Aidan watched zoned out on The Backyardigans while Mommy ate. Since it might be a while before the kiddos are together again I took the liberty of snapping a few photos.

Dinner and a Movie!

This is a Good Episode!

HEY! We paid full admission! Gimme that back!

And finally, they are all looking. Granted Aidan is climbing across the table to retrieve his mini DVD player, but he’s looking all the same! Doesn’t he have that, “Don’t make me come over there woman face!?”

We’re ALL Looking!

My boy has also taken up hiding behind things to go poopy. Is it time to potty train? Deeder usually crouches under his highchair to do his smelly business!

Baby Kai and Brie look like they could be identical twins. Any relation?

  2. Momma said,

Nope no relation, just Mommies that were high school friends!

  3. Pam said,

Um… twins? We might have to see what Ron and Jarrett think about that idea. There might be a couple upset husbands out there if we get rumors like that started.

They are such cuties! It sure was fun to have dinner together.

  4. Auntie Manda said,

Okay, I so don’t see the “twins” reference but maybe that’s just because I know the parents (three out of four anyways).

But DAMN that’s a cute pic. Now…half full mommy…where is the side-by-side scanned comparison pic of all three mommies from high school?? I’m sure there’s one or two out there where you all have big bangs and all your scrunchies match your socks.

Takes one to know one… 🙂
