Little Love Birds

Posted in Buggle Bite, Motherhood, Parenting at 8:37 pm by Momma

Tonight we went over to Jazzie’s house to help celebrate her Mommy’s birthday. The kids are really starting to play and interact with each other. In the past they could really care less about each other. Now we are really able to see them interact and enjoy each others company. Aidan is so cute when he goes over to her house he first checks on his three favorite “stations,” making sure they are still there and as he left them. 1: The toys in the basket and the big ball giraffe. 2: The books on the coffee table. 3: The vast array of fridge magnets. Once he has found that all is right with the world he turns his focus to Jazzie girl.

Jazzie really gets a kick out of watching Aidan. She smiles and giggles to get his attention, and when that doesn’t work she lets out a high pitched squeal to let him know that–um, hello, I’m still here, and I’m cute?! πŸ˜›

I don’t know how I managed to catch this cuteness on “film.” They were holding hands! I think Aidan was trying to help her up, almost like he was trying to say, “common lets get out of here–these old folks are a real snore!”

A little later in the evening it was time for a late night guitar serenade! They were both just strumming along!

Guitar serenade

Why do I have a stinking feeling that these little Dumplings are gonna be quite the handful in about 13 years!! 😯

12-13 years? What’s up with the optimism Mommies? I give them 8 years (tops!) before the trouble starts!

But what adorable trouble it will be… 😎
