Coming to America

Posted in Buggle Bite, Motherhood at 7:45 pm by Momma

These last few days have been jam packed with craziness! I am sooooo tired, and should be in bed right now! Friday night was the big end of the season party for Dad-Oh’s fishing fleet and we were out WAY too late! I think I maybe got four hours of sleep that night! The of course all day Saturday I was counting the hours until bedtime! And then today was busy busy busy with errands and a much needed girls lunch with Jazzie and Carly Jo’s Mommies.

The next three days are gonna be extra busy and very lame! For the first time since The Buggle was born I have to work 8-5! ERRR! Every year we have fall training at work and it is worse than brutal! Blah, blah, blah….for 8 hours. Then to pour a little salt on the wound they usually make us “break out in small groups.” And they ALWAYS choose the groups for us, which really sucks because they break up all the cool people (yeah, that’s me!) and stick us with newbies and teachers pets!

My only saving grace is that I get out of Thursday and Friday because we are coming to AMERICA on Thursday! Yippee! Hopefully, we will get a little more sunshine and some fun family time. We’re gonna take The Buggle to the zoo, children’s museum and OMSI. And of course, Old Navy and Target! 🙂 But that’s a given!

Before heading home we are stopping in Seattle so Dad-Oh and Dick can have sweat from the Seahawks players flung on them in their 6th row seats. Can you even handle all the excitement?! I know, me either! For those of you who care and are counting: Dad-Oh is at 75%!

Oh yeah, more new info: I have enrolled in an online web design class through University of Alaska. Be prepared to be wowed! So I will more than likely be bringing the laptop. Hopefully, I can borrow someones Wi-Fi and be able to post pictures of The Buggle’s cuteness.

Anyway, there is my hodgepodge of a post for tonight! 😛

    Training sounds like F-U-N!! 👿

Can’t wait till you get here and NO, the sweat of Seahawks is not what I am excited about. I’m more excited about seeing our boys chilling together in the wagon!! HURRY!!!!! 🙂 🙂

    Isn’t Alaska in America????
Sounds like you have a very full schedule. I don’t see any grandparents visitation listed. 😦

    So… where do you work???

How long are you staying in AMERICA??? We will be in PDX next weekend. Feel free to send me a note if you want a tour of the coast.

YAY!! America!! Do have lots of fun here! 🙂

Hey cool, Jen–lots of comments! 😉
Sounds like you have loads of fun coming up!
How great about Dad-Oh’s fishing season being done…I wish Darren’s nursing season had an end!

Good for you for finding a class to do. I’ve been searching through things and can’t seem to find something fun that I haven’t already taken!

Boy it’d be so cool if one day Deeder and I get to meet up with you in Seattle on one of your visits! It’s so totally looking like we’ll be in Bellingham by next summer. Time will tell 😛

Have a great time with Auntie Manda 😀
