Extra, Extra!

Posted in Buggle Bite, Motherhood, Parenting at 4:39 pm by Momma

At last I have found a PC! I’ll be the first to admit that I am a true blog junkie! I feel so behind on the lives of my blogroll buddies, and I know everyone is just chompin’ at the bit to see the latest pics of The Buggle Boy! πŸ˜›

We survived the plane ride. The Buggle did pretty well. Although, he was awake nearly the entire time! He did fall asleep for about ten minutes. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back of the plane, by the “facilities,” and he woke right up when someone slammed the bathroom door! Oh, goody! Luckily, we the middle seat was open and he was able to sit and play with his toys just like he does at home. The only difference is there were no Backyardigans to sing fun songs to him!

Plane Ride

The snow followed us south, on purpose I think! So, that put a damper in our “Countdown to Tater!” There was about six inches of snow dumped in Everett–our path on I-5 to Tater’s house. And the traffic? Well let’s just say it’s no Lincoln Street in Sitka! Not in the middle of tourist season! So, since Momma is an “Old lady with Wet Panties” (Daddy’s description not mine, honestly what does that even mean?) I turned around and headed AWAY from the snow storm. Daddy still hadn’t boarded his plane to Portland, so instead of flying there The Buggle and I picked him up spent the night in Seattle and drove down the next day. What a great way to start the trip, huh?

Big Boy Chair

Tomorrow Daddy gets all four of his wisdom teeth pulled. Fun vacation, huh?! Yeah, it’s definitely no tropical paradise! Hopefully, next winter we can take a family vacation somewhere with sand and sun….

Until then, enjoy the cuteness!

Oh hey, Deeder has those shoes too!

I got all four wisdom teeth cut out at the same time. Tell your hubby to lay low and never to spit blood. Yes, that sounds absolutely disgusting (the blood bit). Neglecting to rest makes recovery take way longer…and I wont discribe the whole blood thing, but it’s a big deal!

Glad the plane ride went as well as could be hoped for!

My sibs got in a minor auto accident due to that surprise snow dump. I guess there was a bunch of hail too which caused extra slippery-ness.

Thanks for the cutie Aidan pictures! He sure is precious!

Hey Jen Glad to hear you made it to the lower region! Aiden is just too cute for words.., thank God for pictures. Can you believe that over the weekend it snowed so much my car looked like a minivan with all the snow on it! Take care and hope you have a safe travel home! Lotsa love, Brenda

Um, hello? Where IS the Flickr? And….get thee to a portable DVD player and lots of Backyardigans DVDs stat! Trust me, in a few short months, sitting in the middle seat and playing with the few toys you brought along will no longer suffice!

Can’t wait till Saturday!! Good luck to Case-dawg! πŸ™‚
