Seal of Approval

Posted in Buggle Bite, Motherhood, Parenting at 6:43 pm by Momma

The Buggle had his six month well baby check today, and turns out he’s a well baby! šŸ˜› He weighed in at 16 pounds, 11 ounces (37th percentile) and measured 27 inches long (75th percentile). So, it appears that he is continuing to take after his Daddy’s body type. Which is probably a good thing! He is such a trooper with his shots. He only had to get two today. He didn’t even make a sound when he got the first one, and a small whimper after the second. So hopefully, he inherited his Daddy’s pain threshold too, because the Momma is a major wiener when it comes to pain.Ā  Although, pregnancy and childbirth did toughen me up a little!Ā  He was given the “A-Okay” for more new adventures with food. So for his reward for being such good boy, Momma bought him a brand new bib and exciting snacks!

Fun With Carrots

More, Please

He loved the carrots! Didn’t gag once and kept grabbing the bowl for more. AND he kept it all down! Which for a baby with reflux is nothing short of a miracle!

Well then! We must try carrots šŸ™‚ I have yet to find a “no gag” food for Deeder

Did you say “27 inches”? Big boy! And also great that Aidan did well with the shots–easier on Mommy when that’s the case, for sure!

Yeah, shots are way harder on Mom’s than the kids! There’s just something about willingly allowing someone to jab your baby with a needle containing live viruses that doesn’t sit well with the nerves!

Yep, apparently organic carrots are where it’s at! šŸ˜› I mixed it with a bit of rice ceral too, for a little extra iron. Good luck!

oo yay for organic carrots, Silas ate organic until he started eating everything we do. I wish I could afford it for him longer.
