Subliminal Baby Messages?

Posted in Buggle Bite, Motherhood, Parenting at 8:45 pm by Momma

When the Buggle was about two months old he became infatuated with the bee on his crib bumper that I had on the back of his changing pad. For the longest time Daddy and I joked that the bee was his best friend in the entire world. The Buggle could go from Mr. Cranky Fussy Pants to complete elation within seconds of being put by his best buddy. It was hilarious! Daddy and I probably tried this experiment over 100 times for our own viewing pleasure. We would crack up at the instantaneous mood change every time. You find that you become very easily entertained on two hours of sleep! πŸ˜€

My Bee!

Now that The Buggle is older and thus more mature, the bee doesn’t quite illicit the same reaction as it used to. He has now moved on to bigger and better things! The latest: The Backyardigans theme song! Again he can be a major crankster, but once Daddy accesses our secret DVR Backyardigan’s stash that high pitched song sends the Buggle into an instant trance. After the 20 second intro is over, his attention returns to focusing on being cranky. We have taken this study to scientific levels! Testing his awareness from every angle, positioned with his back to the TV in his excersaucer, from his tummy time quilt. As soon as that first high pitched note is played his eyes widen and he becomes hell bent on finding himself the perfect vantage point to ensure his optimal viewing pleasure. Pictures and possibly video will be forth coming, because even though we are getting slightly more sleep now, we are still very easily amused! Okay, and the tune is kinda catchy in a very annoying stuck-in-your-head all day long kinda way!
