Bon Appetit

Bib? Check. Seat? Check. Plastic bowl? Check. Kiddy spoon? Check. Digital camera? Check. Video camera? Check. Organic rice cereal? Check. Warm boobie juice? Check. Oh yeah, The Buggle? Check. All systems a go!

This evening The Buggle was introduced to baby rice cereal for the first time. We had all the artillery in order before commencing in what only took in total about three minutes. I have to admit I was very nervous. Last night was spent studying Baby’s First Meal 101 in the What to Expect book. Even though I had already read this chapter I needed to refresh my memory. I felt like I was cramming for the big final exam!

Yummy for the Tummy!

We first started with mixing the rice cereal with frozen breast milk. I don’t know if he just didn’t like it or the fact that it was new and different, but he kept gagging. Which really freaked me out. Not knowing whether the milk had gone icky, I scrapped that batch and tried again with water. This time went over a wee bit better, but not enough to rule out the icky milk theory.

This pretty much describes the entire event:

he was probably mad at you because you wouldnt let him drink from the tap, try letting his dad feed him it might not be so personal

Did you try the stuff? It’s not the greatest, no matter what it’s mixed with. Unless of course, it’s mixed with vodka…but I am in no way advocating that you try it with Buggle. šŸ˜‰

Auntie: I was going to try it, then I remembered that the liquid used to reconstitute the flakes came from my very own ninnies! I then got VERY creeped out and couldn’t bring myself to do a tester!

I just mix Deeder’s baby cereal with water (he also gagged the first couple tries).
    Good luck!
