Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
Well I was all set to hunker down and finally complete The Buggle Times: Month 14, but little Aidan-Daidan had other plans…apparently he is cutting another tooth and is in a fair amount of pain and needs his Momma…so alas this short post will have to do!
This is one of my most favorite pictures!!!
PS We got some good pictures of the family decked out in our Seahawks gear today! Again, those will have to wait!

Postponed
I know I promised a Buggle Times post tonight, but that will have to be postponed a few nights. I am still trying to get caught up on sleep, and chores. I had my web design class last night and have two assignments due tomorrow! I completed one tonight, hence the no Buggle post, and have the second assignment slated for tomorrow night!
On top of all this I came back to as crazy work schedule with way too much work crammed in to way too little time….but go figure! And last night I spent nearly two hours trying to fix my home PC’s dumped cache. All my passwords and memory was dumped while I was gone–including my web class and site admin for this site. Needless to say all of this craziness is making me count the sleepins’ until the weekend!!!
Okay, one picture of the cuteness…
This picture was taken at the Children’s Museum in Seattle. This little girl hugging The Buggle was 16 months old, and absolutely infatuated with him! We had never seen her before, but instantly upon seeing my little guy she steam rolled him with about a dozen hugs!
And all he was interested in was his pear!

Home in One Piece-ish
We got home last night.
We had such an amazing time! It was hard to come back. Especially since it was raining buckets! We never had to use a jacket the entire time we were gone. About five minutes after we got home, Dad-Oh looks at me and says, “How many days before we leave for Hawaii?” More on our Kauai trip later…. We love our home and it is great to back in our own space, but we had such a great family vay-cay, that it was hard to go back to the real world.
I’m not gonna write much tonight about the trip, cuz I am saving a lot of it and the pics for tomorrow’s Buggle Times post.
I will say that Dad-Oh and Dick had just about the best possible time of their life at the Seahawks game on Sunday. They just so happened to be in the right place at the right time to meet Nate Burleson. Who if you didn’t know already is Dad-Oh’s BOY!
Dad-Oh had him autograph his 12th man jersey and he was about as giddy as a school boy. Dad-Oh came back to the hotel with a whole slew of Seahawks regalia. Including a bright pink, glittered Lofa Tatupu jersey for the Momma! Cuz, that was JUST what my wardrobe was missing! The Buggle was not left out. He too got a Lofa jersey–a BLUE Lofa jersey. Because he is a beast in the middle too!
Last night while waiting for our baggage at the airport we hear Dad-Oh’s name called over the intercom, asking him to come to the service desk. Evidently they forgot to load an ENTIRE cart of bags in Seattle and 4/5 of our bags would not be arriving. Of course the car seat WAS included in that 4/5. Dad-Oh’s anxiety was put to rest when the one teeny bag that did arrive just so happened to be the bag with the signed jersey. No car seat? No problem. Nothing for our son–no problem. No toiletries–no problem! Damn it, the jersey is safe–all is well with the world! Talk about priorities!
We came home tired and haggard, and happy to be home. The house was a mess, but I managed to get a good sweeping and vacuuming done before bed.
More to come….

Too Much Fun!
We have been busy, busy with so many fun things! Today we took The Buggle to the Portland Children’s Museum. And he had a B.L.A.S.T to say the least! It is so amazing to see him walk all around from activity to activity like a little boy! He has really come along way on this trip! The whole family was so tired today after the outing that we took a family nap…for THREE hours!!! I had to wake the poor little guy up! He was still in the exact same position he was in when I put him in the pack and play! And that NEVER happens. He is a wiggler!
Tomorrow we are off for more adventures. It is supposed to be in the mid-seventies.
Fun fact: so far every kid related out we have done there has been at least one kid that rubbed The Buggle’s head! His little bald rounded noggin is even irresistible for the kiddos! Maybe they are sending him happy hair growing thoughts?!
Playing at the water table at OMSI. This is his first time wearing rubber boots. They were a bit big but he did way better than I thought he would!
Here he is playing in yet another water table at the Children’s Museum. The kid LOVES water! As long as the source of the water isn’t the toilet, I’m happy!
Look at that smile!

Where a Kid Can Be a Kid!
Today we packed up The Buggle and took him to every kids dreamland: Chuck E Cheese! He was a bit over whelmed, but we could tell he really liked it! He loved watching all the kids and seeing all the bells and whistles on the games. He however, did not like the large dancing Chuck E.
Actually, he kinda hated him!
My little eater man loved the pizza–of course! I think he ate a slice and a half! Little piggy!
The bargain hunting Mommy I am, printed out a coupon for a large pizza, three drinks and 40 tokens for $19.99! So after all our tokens were spent we had 77 tickets. In which The Buggle exchanged for one hacky-sack-like baseball, and two tootsie rolls for Mommy and Dad-Oh. We all got a prize!
Although The Buggle was still a bit too young to fully enjoy the greatness that is Chuck E Cheese, he still had a ball and I bet next year when we are down he will be all over that ball pit and climby thing!

More Gelato, Please
I desperately need to go to bed so I am going to keep this short and sweet. We have arrived! Finally! No thanks to Horizon canceling 140+ flights out of Seattle. Instead of hanging out at the SeaTac airport for 6+ hours to MAYBE make it out we decided to get a one way car rental and drive. Ironically enough this is what we have done every other time we come this way. We thought we’d save a bit of time and fly to Portland and then have a stop over in Seattle on the way back…well I guess the joke was on us.
The Buggle was SUCH a trooper, just going with the flow all day! Such a good boy! Today we had breakfast and then headed to the mall, where he visited the Disney Store for the very first time!
He LOVED walking like a big boy. I can’t believe how good he has gotten in such a short time. After then mall we headed home for nap time. After nap we went to dinner here and then went walking around Bridgeport where Aidan discovered his love for gelato!
